Title
electerm before 5.3.15 Arbitrary Command Execution via Unvalidated runGlobalAsync IPC Bridge
Summary
electerm before 5.3.15 exposes 40+ main-process functions through an unvalidated Electron IPC handler with no function-name allowlist or sender validation. Summary
Exposed Dangerous Method or Function in ASUS Armoury Crate allow a local user to cause a brief system stall by bypassing driver authentication and sending requests to trigger system management interrupts (SMIs). Repeatedly triggering SMI may lead to a denial-of-service (DoS) condition.Refer to the ' Security Update for Armoury Crate App ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information.

CVE-2026-66781 (GCVE-0-2026-66781)

Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-08-18 17:05 – Updated: 2026-09-05 14:23
VLAI
Title
Submariner-operator: pprof debug endpoint enabled by default on 0.0.0.0:8082 without authentication
Summary
A flaw was found in the Submariner operator. The Submariner Custom Resource (CR), used for configuring network connectivity, stores the IPsec pre-shared key (PSK) in an unencrypted format. This key, which is critical for securing communication between Kubernetes clusters, can be accessed by unauthorized parties. Such access enables an attacker to passively decrypt network traffic flowing between any two clusters in the mesh, resulting in sensitive information disclosure.

CVE-2026-55454 (GCVE-0-2026-55454)

Title
Appsmith: Caddy admin API exposed without authentication
Summary
Appsmith is a platform to build admin panels, internal tools, and dashboards. Prior to 2.1, the bundled Caddy reverse-proxy's admin API — which has no authentication by default — is bound on 0.0.0.0:2019 inside the container. While this listener is not directly published to the host by docker-compose.yml, it is reachable from the Appsmith server process itself or a SSRF vulnerability. An authenticated low-privileged user can therefore drive the SSRF to issue POST /load (or any other admin-API call) against http://0.0.0.0:2019/, fully replacing the live Caddy configuration and taking over the reverse proxy. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.

Title
Nx: `nx graph` dev server permissive CORS policy
Summary
Nx is a monorepo solution for TypeScript and polyglot codebases. From 17.0.4 until 22.7.2 and 23.0.0-beta.2, the local HTTP server started by nx graph sent Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * on every response, letting any website a developer visited read the server's responses cross-origin — including the full project graph and the output of the /help endpoint, which runs a target's configured help command. The practical impact is typically cross-origin information disclosure, but can be arbitrary command injection in rare cases. This vulnerability is fixed in 22.7.2 and 23.0.0-beta.2.

Title
Vitest: Exposed Browser Mode API Can Proxy CDP and Overwrite Config Files, Leading to RCE
Summary
Vitest is a testing framework powered by Vite. From 3.0.0 until 3.2.5, 4.1.8, and 5.0.0-beta.4, Vitest Browser Mode exposed a cdp() API that forwarded raw Chrome DevTools Protocol methods without being gated by allowWrite or allowExec, allowing a remote client with exposed browser API metadata to use CDP Page.setDownloadBehavior and Runtime.evaluate to overwrite vite.config.ts and execute attacker-controlled Node.js code. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.5, 4.1.8, and 5.0.0-beta.

Title
Streambert : Insecure Protocol Execution in open-external IPC Handler
Summary
Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. Prior to version 2.6.0, the open-external IPC handler in src/ipc/downloads.js passes a renderer-supplied url directly to Electron's shell.openExternal without validating its protocol. A compromised renderer can submit file: URIs or operating-system-specific custom schemes, causing the host to open local files, access remote resources through registered handlers, or launch scripts and applications supported by those handlers. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.0.

CVE-2026-49993 (GCVE-0-2026-49993)

Title
@nuxt/webpack-builder and @nuxt/rspack-builder dev server same-origin check bypassed when Sec-Fetch-Site, Origin, and Referer are all absent (incomplete fix for GHSA-6m52-m754-pw2g)
Summary
Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. In @nuxt/rspack-builder and @nuxt/webpack-builder from versions 3.15.4 to before 3.21.7 and 4.0.0 to before 4.4.7, there is an incomplete fix for GHSA-6m52-m754-pw2g. Source code may still be stolen during dev when using the webpack / rspack builder if the dev server is bound to a non-loopback address (e.g. nuxt dev --host) and the developer opens a malicious site on the same network. This issue has been patched in versions 3.21.7 and 4.4.7.

Title
Postiz has an unauthenticated billing-enforcement bypass via /public/modify-subscription
Summary
Postiz is an AI social media scheduling tool. Versions prior to 2.21.8 contained an unauthenticated endpoint that accepted a signed token and applied subscription-enforcement side effects to the organization referenced in that token's claims, without verifying the token's intended purpose. The endpoint, /public/modify-subscription, could not change the persisted subscription tier, but it did execute enforcement-related side effects on the caller's own organization, including adjusting team-member enablement state, disabling integrations exceeding the asserted plan's limits, and resetting the scheduled-post cron when the asserted plan was the free tier. Impact is limited to the attacker's own organization and cannot be redirected at other tenants through this endpoint. This issue has been fixed in version 2.21.8.

Mitigation
Architecture and Design

If you must expose a method, make sure to perform input validation on all arguments, limit access to authorized parties, and protect against all possible vulnerabilities.

Mitigation
Architecture and Design Implementation

Strategy: Attack Surface Reduction

  • Identify all exposed functionality. Explicitly list all functionality that must be exposed to some user or set of users. Identify which functionality may be:
  • Ensure that the implemented code follows these expectations. This includes setting the appropriate access modifiers where applicable (public, private, protected, etc.) or not marking ActiveX controls safe-for-scripting.
  • accessible to all users
  • restricted to a small set of privileged users
  • prevented from being directly accessible at all
CAPEC-500: WebView Injection

An adversary, through a previously installed malicious application, injects code into the context of a web page displayed by a WebView component. Through the injected code, an adversary is able to manipulate the DOM tree and cookies of the page, expose sensitive information, and can launch attacks against the web application from within the web page.
