    CVE-2026-9594 (GCVE-0-2026-9594)

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-06-06 03:28 – Updated: 2026-06-06 11:42

    Title
    WP Maps <= 4.9.4 - Authenticated (Admin+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'location_messages' Parameter
    Summary
    The WP Maps – Google Maps,OpenStreetMap,Mapbox,Store Locator,Listing,Directory & Filters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'location_messages' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the attacker to hold the custom wpgmp_manage_location capability, which is granted to administrators by default but can be assigned to lower-privileged roles via the plugin's Permissions screen.

    CVE-2026-8732 (GCVE-0-2026-8732)

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-05-29 05:32 – Updated: 2026-05-29 10:06

    Title
    WP Maps Pro <= 6.1.0 - Unauthenticated Privilege Escalation via Administrator Account Creation to wpgmp_temp_access_ajax AJAX Action
    Summary
    The WP Maps Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation via Administrator Account Creation in all versions up to, and including, 6.1.0. This is due to the wpgmp_temp_access_ajax AJAX action being registered with wp_ajax_nopriv_ and protected only by a nonce check using the fc-call-nonce nonce, which is publicly embedded into every frontend page via wp_localize_script as the nonce field of the wpgmp_local JavaScript object, rendering the check ineffective as an access control mechanism. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to invoke the wpgmp_temp_access_support handler with check_temp=false, which unconditionally creates a new WordPress user with the hardcoded role of administrator via wp_insert_user() and returns a magic login URL that, when visited, calls wp_set_auth_cookie() to fully authenticate the attacker as the newly created administrator, resulting in complete site takeover.

    Title
    WP Maps – Store Locator,Google Maps,OpenStreetMap,Mapbox,Listing,Directory & Filters <= 4.8.7 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'put_wpgm' Shortcode
    Summary
    The WP Maps – Store Locator,Google Maps,OpenStreetMap,Mapbox,Listing,Directory & Filters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'put_wpgm' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.8.7. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied shortcode attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

    Title
    WP Maps – Store Locator,Google Maps,OpenStreetMap,Mapbox,Listing,Directory & Filters <= 4.9.1 - Unauthenticated SQL Injection via 'orderby' Parameter
    Summary
    The WP Maps – Store Locator,Google Maps,OpenStreetMap,Mapbox,Listing,Directory & Filters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the ‘orderby’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

    Title
    WP Maps <= 4.9.1 - Unauthenticated SQL Injection via 'location_id' Parameter
    Summary
    The WP Maps plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based blind SQL Injection via the 'location_id' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.1. This is due to the plugin's database abstraction layer (`FlipperCode_Model_Base::is_column()`) treating user input wrapped in backticks as column names, bypassing the `esc_sql()` escaping function. Additionally, the `wpgmp_ajax_call` AJAX handler (registered for unauthenticated users via `wp_ajax_nopriv`) allows calling arbitrary class methods including `wpgmp_return_final_capability`, which passes the unsanitized `location_id` GET parameter directly to a database query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

This is due to the plugin\u0027s database abstraction layer (`FlipperCode_Model_Base::is_column()`) treating user input wrapped in backticks as column names, bypassing the `esc_sql()` escaping function. Additionally, the `wpgmp_ajax_call` AJAX handler (registered for unauthenticated users via `wp_ajax_nopriv`) allows calling arbitrary class methods including `wpgmp_return_final_capability`, which passes the unsanitized `location_id` GET parameter directly to a database query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database."

    Title
    WP Maps <= 4.8.6 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) Limited Local File Inclusion
    Summary
    The WP Maps – Store Locator,Google Maps,OpenStreetMap,Mapbox,Listing,Directory & Filters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 4.8.6 via the fc_load_template function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to include and execute arbitrary .html files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .html file types can be uploaded and included.

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2024-12-24 08:22 – Updated: 2026-04-08 16:37
    VLAI
    Title
    Text Prompter – Unlimited chatgpt text prompts for openai tasks <= 1.0.7 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting
    Summary
    The Text Prompter – Unlimited chatgpt text prompts for openai tasks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'text_prompter' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

    Title
    WordPress Plugin for Google Maps – WP MAPS <= 4.6.1 - Authenticated (Contributor+) SQL Injection
    Summary
    The WordPress Plugin for Google Maps – WP MAPS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'id' parameter of the 'put_wpgm' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.6.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

    Title
    Custom CSS, JS & PHP <= 2.0.7 - Cross-Site Request Forgery Bypass
    Summary
    The Custom CSS, JS & PHP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 2.0.7. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the save() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to save code snippets via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
