    Title
    Missing Authorization in legacy Express entries search endpoint allows disclosure of Express entry data
    Summary
    Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 exposed a legacy Express entry search endpoint that returned entry result JSON without invoking the canViewExpressEntries() permission check applied by the normal dashboard and CSV Export flow. An unauthenticated visitor who knew or discovered an Express entity identifier could enumerate that entity's entry search results, disclosing attribute values intended to be restricted to privileged users. For Express entities that do not support entry-specific permissions (i.e., supportsEntrySpecificPermissions() returns false), per-entry permission filtering is additionally disabled via EntryList::ignorePermissions(). The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 6.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.     Title
    Concrete CMS before 9.5.4 allows a deactivated user to retain OAuth-authenticated REST API access
    Summary
    Concrete CMS before 9.5.4 re-authorized OAuth REST API requests from the bearer token alone and did not re-check the state of the account the token had been issued to. The resource server's authorization validator confirmed only that a token existed, had not expired, and had not been explicitly revoked, and deactivating a user did not revoke that user's outstanding tokens. As a result, a deactivated user retained full access to /ccm/api/1.0/* for the remaining lifetime of any token already issued to them. The same gap applied to accounts that had been deleted or locked pending a forced password reset. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.0 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:L/UI:A/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.     Title
    Missing authorization in the REST API user creation endpoint in Concrete CMS 9.2.0 through 9.5.3 allows arbitrary account creation
    Summary
    n Concrete CMS 9.2.0 through 9.5.3, the REST API user creation endpoint (POST /ccm/api/1.0/users, the add() method of concrete/src/Api/Controller/Users.php) did not perform a permission check before creating an account. As a result, any valid OAuth token carrying the users:add scope, including a client_credentials token with no associated user context, could create active, validated user accounts, bypassing email verification and administrator approval. Under default registration settings the created accounts could then edit page content, providing a path to stored cross-site scripting and further compromise. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.     Concrete CMS 9 through 9.5.3 did not confirm that a board InstanceItem submitted to the custom-slot preview endpoint belonged to the board instance the requesting user was authorized to edit, and did not enforce page-view permission before generating page-backed summary content.     Concrete CMS before 9.5.4 stored is vulneratble to cross-site scripting via unauthenticated XML/XSLT file upload in the Form Block
    Summary
    Concrete CMS before 9.5.4 did not sanitize XML and XSLT documents uploaded through a public Form Block file-upload question. Plain XML uploads were validated by file extension only and stored as publicly accessible files that were served inline from the application's own origin. An unauthenticated visitor could therefore store an XML document containing an xml-stylesheet processing instruction that referenced an attacker-supplied, same-origin XSLT stylesheet. When a victim opened the stored file directly in a browser, the browser fetched the stylesheet, transformed the document into HTML, and executed attacker-controlled JavaScript in the Concrete CMS origin (stored cross-site scripting). If the victim was an authenticated administrator, the script could act with that administrator's session, and the reporter demonstrated creation of a new user in the Administrators group. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 7.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:A/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.     Concrete CMS below 9.5.4 did not validate the user timezone value (uTimezone) on write and rendered it without output encoding on the Dashboard user management page, where Date::getTimezoneDisplayName() returns any non-IANA value unchanged. A stored cross-site scripting payload saved in this field executed in an administrator's browser when they viewed the affected user in the Dashboard, running script in the admin session (for example to read CSRF tokens, create administrator accounts, or change site settings). In Concrete CMS 9.5.3 the field became reachable by unauthenticated visitors through public registration; in Concrete CMS below 9.5.3, the same field was reachable by any authenticated user through the account profile editor.     Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 contained a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in SVG file handling. When SVG processing was set to the non-default "Reject files containing potentially harmful elements" mode (concrete.file_manager.images.svg_sanitization.action = reject), uploaded SVGs were checked only against a small built-in blocklist covering the script element and on* event-handler attributes; the broader enshrined/svg-sanitize pass still ran, but its result was discarded, so vectors it would have stripped, such as a javascript: URI in an xlink:href, were stored unmodified and executed when the file was opened directly. A user able to upload files could thereby run arbitrary JavaScript in the browser of any user who viewed the file.     Concrete CMS 9.0.0 to 9.5.2 Express Form block missing authorization allows an authenticated editor to modify Express Forms they cannot edit
    Summary
    Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.2 did not enforce a block-level edit-permission check on the Express Form block's control-management actions, which relied solely on CSRF token validation. Because the token is bound to the user and action rather than to a specific block, page, or form, an authenticated user with edit access to one Express Form could reuse a validly obtained token to add, modify, or delete controls on Express Forms they were not authorized to edit, including injecting a control whose value is later rendered as HTML to achieve stored XSS. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.0 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:H/UI:P/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.     Summary
    Concrete CMS 9.4.0 through 9.5.2 did not escape colliding page paths before rendering them in the location panel's duplicate-path confirmation dialog.     Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) via Conversation Custom Date Format
    Summary
    Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 improperly neutralized a user-supplied custom date format when rendering conversation messages, resulting in reflected cross-site scripting. An attacker could execute arbitrary JavaScript in the browser of a user who was tricked into submitting a crafted POST request to the conversation view endpoint.     IDOR in Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.2 dashboard sitemap reorder (SitemapUpdate::updateDisplayOrder) allows an authenticated sitemap user to reorder arbitrary pages
    Summary
    Concrete CMS 9 before 9.5.3 authorized the dashboard sitemap reorder action (Concrete\Controller\Backend\Dashboard\SitemapUpdate) using only the global access_sitemap task permission and did not check per-page edit permission before updating each page's display order. As a result, an authenticated user granted sitemap access could change the display order (cDisplayOrder) of any pages they had no rights to edit, altering the order in which those pages render in navigation, breadcrumb, and page-list output. The reorder action additionally validated no CSRF token, so the write could be triggered by a forged request. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.     Concrete CMS 9.0.0 to 9.5.2 is vulnerable to SSRF protection bypass in remote file import when multiple URLs share a host but use different ports
    Summary
    Concrete CMS 9.0.0 to 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery iremote file import via cross-port reuse of a host's validated DNS pin. When multiple remote URLs share the same host, only the first `ValidatedRemoteUrl` is retained and reused for every later URL with that host. A low-privileged authenticated user permitted to import files could therefore supply a DNS-rebinding host that resolved to a public address during validation and to a private or loopback address during the unpinned download, causing the server to fetch internal-only resources such as loopback services, internal admin panels, or cloud metadata endpoints and to save the responses into the file manager. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:L/SI:N/SA:N.     Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Insecure direct object reference (IDOR) in the Express saved search preset delete and edit dialogs .     Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 Multilingual Page Assign Action Lacks Destination Authorization and CSRF Token Validation
    Summary
    Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 did not enforce a destination-side authorization check and did not validate a CSRF token in the multilingual page assignment backend action (Backend\Page\Multilingual::assign). As a result, an authenticated user who held the Edit Page Multilingual Settings permission on a single page could bind an arbitrary page in another locale as that source page's translation, and could delete legitimate translation pairs maintained by other editors, altering public-facing language routing across the site. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.     Concrete CMS 9.0.0-9.5.2 Boards data source dashboard is missing an authorization check, allowing a low-privileged board editor to modify or delete configured data sources on boards they do not control
    Summary
    Concrete CMS 9 through 9.5.2 does not perform an authorization check in three actions of the Boards data source dashboard controller (update, update_data_source, and delete_data_source), which resolve a ConfiguredDataSource directly from an attacker-supplied identifier without confirming the requester's edit permission on the owning board. A user granted edit_board_settings on a single board was therefore able to modify or permanently delete the configured data sources of any other board on the site, halting the affected board's content feed and resetting its custom weighting. The CSRF token that guards these actions was validated but bound to the action name rather than to the target object, so a token legitimately obtained for one board could be replayed against another board's ConfiguredDataSource identifier and did not constrain access. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.     Summary
    Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.2 was missing an authorization check on the Express entries advanced-search dashboard action. The advanced_search() method in DashboardSelectableExpressEntryListTrait resolved an Express entity directly from a user-supplied entity ID and rendered that entity's entries without invoking canViewExpressEntries(), the per-entity permission check that the sibling results() action enforced.     Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.2 is Missing Authorization on Board Instance Actions Allowed a Board Editor to Access and Delete Other Boards' Instances
    Summary
    Concrete CMS 9 through 9.5.2 did not perform an authorization check on several board-instance actions in the Boards area of the Dashboard. The instance details single-page controller resolved a board instance directly from an attacker-supplied instance ID and then viewed, refreshed, regenerated, or deleted it without verifying that the requester held edit_board_settings on the instance's parent board. As a result, a user granted board-edit rights on a single board could reach the instances of any other board on the site by supplying their instance IDs. The affected actions bypassed the controller's permission-checked accessor (the same accessor used by the read view, which runs canEditBoardSettings on the parent board) and validated only an action-scoped CSRF token, which is bound to the action name rather than to the target object and is therefore reusable across boards. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.     Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 is vulnerable to Authenticated Denial of Service via Unescaped SQL LIKE Wildcards in Keyword Search
    Summary
    Concrete CMS 9 before 9.5.3 did not escape SQL LIKE wildcard characters in the keyword search filters used by the file manager, file folders, and page list, allowing an authenticated user with editor-level or higher privileges to submit a crafted search containing many single-character wildcards. Because the keyword input was placed into the LIKE clause without neutralizing its wildcard metacharacters, a short request could force the database to evaluate every row and perform a full-table scan, and repeated or wildcard-dense searches could sustain elevated database CPU and I/O, degrading responsiveness for other users on large installations. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.     Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in the theme page-template activation feature.     Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 is missing authorization in the SEO Bulk Update Meta Tags editor
    Summary
    In Concrete CMS before 9.5.3, the SEO Bulk Update Meta Tags editor did not check per-page edit permissions before saving. The saveRecord() action validated the per-page CSRF token but never called canEditPageProperties() for the target page, so a user who was granted access to the bulk SEO tool and could view (but not edit) a given page was able to change that page's meta title, meta description, and URL handle outside their edit scope, tampering with the presentation and live URLs of otherwise protected content. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.     "In Concrete CMS below 9.5.3, there is Missing authorization in the sitemap page reorder allowing low-privilege users to reorder arbitrary pages "
    Summary
    Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 did not enforce a per-page authorization check when reordering pages from the sitemap. In the sitemap Explore dashboard controller, the send_to_top and send_to_bottom reorder tasks ran after only a generic sitemap-access check; the controller loaded the page named by the attacker-controlled cNodeID parameter and changed its display order without verifying that the current user held move or arrange permission on that specific page. Because of this, an authenticated user who could reach the sitemap but had no edit or arrange rights on a given page could still move that page and alter the site's global navigation order. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.     Concrete CMS 8.5.3 through 9.5.2 enabled the OAuth 2.0 refresh-token grant using the unmodified upstream League grant, which issued new access tokens from a valid refresh token without re-checking the associated account's active status.     Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in Dashboard SEO Excluded Words Reset Endpoint
    Summary
    Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 was vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in the dashboard SEO Excluded Words page. The reset() controller action cleared the administrator-configured reserved-word list (concrete.seo.exclude_words) but did not validate the anti-CSRF token that the reset modal emitted, and it did not restrict the request to the POST method. A remote attacker who lured an authenticated user with SEO access to a crafted page could revert the reserved-word list to its default and silently alter future URL-slug generation for pages, files, topics, and other objects created through the Text urlify service, undoing the site's configured SEO slug policy. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:P/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.     Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in Block Arrangement Endpoint
    Summary
    Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 did not validate an anti-CSRF token on the block-arrangement backend endpoint (the arrange() action of Concrete\Controller\Backend\Page\ArrangeBlocks). The action enforced page-edit authorization but performed no token check, and its route accepted any HTTP method, so an attacker could induce a signed-in content editor into loading an attacker-controlled page that auto-submitted a cross-site request and reordered or moved blocks in the draft version of a page the victim was permitted to edit. The default null cookie SameSite configuration let the victim's session cookie accompany the forged request. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:P/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.     Concrete CMS 9.0 to 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Stored XSS via group folder name on the Members > Groups dashboard
    Summary
    Concrete CMS 9.0.0 to 9.5.2 stored group folder names without sanitization and printed them unescaped on the Members > Groups dashboard page, resulting in stored cross-site scripting. The add and edit group-folder handlers stored the submitted folder name without neutralizing HTML, and the group search grid returned it without output encoding, so the Groups dashboard rendered the name as live markup. An authenticated user holding the Add Group Folder permission could store a script payload as a folder name that executed in the session of any administrator who viewed the Groups dashboard, enabling session and token theft and any action available in the administrator's context. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 7.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.     In Concrete CMS 9.2.0 to 9.5.2, Missing Authorization in REST API Users update() and change_password Enables Account Takeover.

    Concrete CMS 9.2.0 to 9.5.2 did not enforce per-field edit_user_properties permissions on the REST API user write endpoints (PUT /ccm/api/1.0/users/{uID} and POST /ccm/api/1.0/users/{uID}/change_password).     Title
    Concrete CMS 9.0 to 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Stored XSS in the Top Navigation Bar Block via Dropdown Child Page Names
    Summary
    In Concrete CMS 9.0 to 9.5.2, the Top Navigation Bar block did not HTML-escape dropdown child page names before writing them into the page, so a user who could create or rename pages could store a script through a child page name and have it run in the browser of any visitor, editor, or administrator who viewed the navigation and opened the affected dropdown. In the Concrete CMS origin, the script executed with the victim's privileges and could read same-origin content or perform actions available to that user. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 7.5 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.
