Title
Kirby: Access to files of top-level drafts is not protected by permissions
Summary
Kirby is an open-source content management system. Prior to 4.9.4 and 5.4.4, Kirby sites with content.fileRedirects enabled could redirect unauthenticated clean file URL requests for files stored in top-level draft pages to physical media URLs without checking page access permissions or preview tokens, leading to disclosure of draft file contents. This issue is fixed in versions 4.9.4 and 5.4.4.

Kirby: `pages.access` permission is not checked in the `site/find` REST API route

Kirby is an open-source content management system. Prior to 4.9.4 and 5.4.4, Kirby sites where a role has the pages.access permission disabled allowed authenticated users who know or guess page IDs or UUIDs to retrieve page information, including full content and metadata, for arbitrary published pages through the /api/site/find route without authorization to access those pages. This issue is fixed in versions 4.9.4 and 5.4.4.

Title
Open WebUI: Forged chat-file link allows cross-user file read and deletion
Summary
Open WebUI is a self-hosted artificial intelligence platform designed to operate entirely offline. Prior to 0.9.6, Open WebUI lets an authenticated user attach arbitrary file_id values to their own chat message without checking whether they own or can read those files. If the attacker then shares that chat and grants themselves read access, has_access_to_file() treats the victim file as accessible through the shared chat, and the file endpoints read or delete the victim file. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.9.6.

Title
Open WebUI: Forged model meta.knowledge allows cross-user file read and deletion
Summary
Open WebUI is a self-hosted artificial intelligence platform designed to operate entirely offline. Prior to 0.9.6, Open WebUI lets a user who can create, update, or import workspace models store arbitrary meta.knowledge entries on their model without checking whether they own or can read the referenced files. Open WebUI then treats meta.knowledge entries of type file as an authorization source in two places: the built-in view_file tool reads the file's extracted text, and has_access_to_file()'s model branch authorizes the file content and file delete endpoints. A malicious model owner can therefore attach another user's file ID to their model metadata and read or delete that private file. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.9.6.

Open WebUI: RAG ACL Bypass in Milvus Multitenancy Mode
Summary
Open WebUI is a self-hosted artificial intelligence platform designed to operate entirely offline. Prior to 0.9.6, Open WebUI added collection-level ACL checks, but the patch can still be bypassed when Milvus multitenancy mode is enabled. The ACL allows unknown non-KB collection names as legacy/ephemeral collections. In Milvus multitenancy mode, that user-controlled collection name becomes a resource_id and is interpolated into a Milvus expression without escaping. This is caused by an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-44560 This vulnerability is fixed in 0.9.6.

LibreChat: Image Upload Route Bypasses Agent Permission Check — Incomplete Fix for File Upload Authorization
Summary
LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, the POST /api/files/images endpoint allows any authenticated user to upload files into any agent's tool_resources (e.g., context, execute_code) without verifying ownership or EDIT permission on the target agent. A permission check was added to the POST /api/files route in a previous patch, but the image upload route was never updated with the same check. An attacker can simply use the image endpoint instead of the file endpoint to bypass the authorization entirely. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1.

LibreChat: IDOR in Message Deletion — Incomplete Fix for CVE-2024-41703 Leaves deleteMessages() Without User Filter
Summary
LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, the DELETE /api/messages/:conversationId/:messageId endpoint allows any authenticated user to delete any other user's messages. The validateMessageReq middleware only validates that the conversationId belongs to the requesting user, but the handler calls deleteMessages({ messageId }) using only the messageId as the MongoDB filter — without adding a user constraint. An attacker provides their own valid conversationId (to pass validation) and the victim's messageId (to target deletion), resulting in permanent, irrecoverable message deletion. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1.

Title
Kubio AI Page Builder <= 2.7.2 - Missing Authorization to Authenticated (Contributor+) Limited File Upload via Kubio Block Attributes
Summary
The Kubio plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in versions up to and including 2.7.2. This is due to insufficient capability checks in the kubio_rest_pre_insert_import_assets() function, which is hooked to the rest_pre_insert_{post_type} filter for posts, pages, templates, and template parts. When a post is created or updated via the REST API, Kubio parses block attributes looking for URLs in the 'kubio' attribute namespace and automatically imports them via importRemoteFile() without verifying the user has the upload_files capability. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to bypass WordPress's normal media upload restrictions and upload files fetched from external URLs to the media library, creating attachment posts in the database.

Description:

  • Divide the product into anonymous, normal, privileged, and administrative areas. Reduce the attack surface by carefully mapping roles with data and functionality. Use role-based access control (RBAC) [REF-229] to enforce the roles at the appropriate boundaries.

CAPEC-665: Exploitation of Thunderbolt Protection Flaws

An adversary leverages a firmware weakness within the Thunderbolt protocol, on a computing device to manipulate Thunderbolt controller firmware in order to exploit vulnerabilities in the implementation of authorization and verification schemes within Thunderbolt protection mechanisms. Upon gaining physical access to a target device, the adversary conducts high-level firmware manipulation of the victim Thunderbolt controller SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) flash, through the use of a SPI Programing device and an external Thunderbolt device, typically as the target device is booting up. If successful, this allows the adversary to modify memory, subvert authentication mechanisms, spoof identities and content, and extract data and memory from the target device. Currently 7 major vulnerabilities exist within Thunderbolt protocol with 9 attack vectors as noted in the Execution Flow.
