Mistune directives/include: mutual `.. include::` recursion crashes the renderer with `RecursionError`, denial of service via two attacker-controlled markdown files
Summary
Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins. Prior to 3.3.0, the Include directive in src/mistune/directives/include.py detects only direct self-includes and not indirect cycles, allowing two markdown files that include each other to trigger unbounded recursion, raise RecursionError, and crash the rendering request. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.0.

Excelize: Negative shared-string index causes panic in GetCellValue and GetRows
Summary
Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. Prior to 2.11.0, Excelize parses shared-string cell values with strconv.Atoi and checks only the upper bound before indexing the shared string slice, allowing an XLSX file containing a shared-string cell with -1 to trigger sharedStrings[-1] and panic when read through GetCellValue or GetRows. This issue is fixed in version 2.11.0.

CoreWCF: Kafka consume pump halts permanently on a Kafka tombstone (null-value record), causing persistent endpoint denial of service.
Summary
CoreWCF is a port of the service side of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) to .NET Core. Prior to 1.8.1 and 1.9.1, a CoreWCF service listening on a Kafka topic stops processing new records from that topic when KafkaTransportPump receives a null-value tombstone record, causing a persistent endpoint denial of service for attackers with produce permission. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.1 and 1.9.1.

Routinator exits when accepting an incoming HTTP or RTR connection fails
Summary
Routinator exits on any error when accepting incoming HTTP or RTR connections, including ones it can recover from such as running out of file descriptors. This condition can be triggered maliciously by an attacker by opening a large number of connections to the HTTP or RTR server.
This only affects users that make their HTTP or RTR server available to untrusted networks.

IO::Compress versions from 2.207 before 2.220 for Perl ship a zipdetails CLI tool that crashes with undefined subroutine on Info-ZIP Unix Extra Field with 8-byte UID or GID.
When decode_ux() in bin/zipdetails handles an Info-ZIP Unix Extra Field (tag 0x7875) with UID Size or GID Size set to 8, causing zipdetails to decode an 8-byte UID or GID value, it dispatches through decodeLitteEndian(), which calls a misnamed helper unpackValueQ. The actual function defined in the same file is unpackValue_Q (with underscore); the call raises 'Undefined subroutine &main::unpackValueQ' and the script exits with status 255.
Library callers of IO::Compress and IO::Uncompress are not affected; the defect is in the bundled CLI tool.

PyJWT: PyJWKClient unbounded JWKS endpoint requests via attacker-controlled kid values (DoS)
Summary
PyJWT is a JSON Web Token implementation in Python. Prior to 2.13.0, PyJWKClient.get_signing_key() forces a fresh HTTP request to the JWKS endpoint for every JWT with an unknown kid value, with no rate limiting. Since kid comes from the unverified token header, an attacker can trigger unlimited outbound requests. The vulnerability surfaces only when a JWKS fetch fails; an attacker can attempt to provoke that with sustained unknown-kid traffic, but the outcome depends on upstream JWKS-endpoint behavior (rate limiting, transient errors) which is beyond the attacker's control. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.13.0.

opentelemetry-js: Prometheus exporter process crash via malformed HTTP request
Summary
opentelemetry-js is the OpenTelemetry JavaScript Client. Prior to 0.217.0, a single malformed HTTP request crashes any Node.js process running the OpenTelemetry JS Prometheus exporter. The metrics endpoint (default 0.0.0.0:9464) has no error handling around URL parsing, so a request with an invalid URI causes an uncaught TypeError that terminates the process. Title
Nimiq network-libp2p: Untrusted peer can wedge DHT
Summary
Nimiq is a Rust implementation of the Nimiq Proof-of-Stake protocol based on the Albatross consensus algorithm. network-libp2p handles kad get-record query progress in handle_dht_get (network-libp2p/src/swarm.rs). Prior to version 1.4.0, when a peer returns a FoundRecord, the code verifies the record via dht_verifier.verify(&record.record). On verifier error, handle_dht_get logs and returns early without completing the oneshot used by Network::dht_get, and without cleaning up per-query bookkeeping. Later query progress can hit the "DHT inconsistent state" path and also return without cleanup. Because Network::dht_get awaits the oneshot without a timeout, the caller future can hang indefinitely. "value": "Nimiq is a Rust implementation of the Nimiq Proof-of-Stake protocol based on the Albatross consensus algorithm. network-libp2p handles kad get-record query progress in handle_dht_get (network-libp2p/src/swarm.rs). Prior to version 1.4.0, when a peer returns a FoundRecord, the code verifies the record via dht_verifier.verify(\u0026record.record). On verifier error, handle_dht_get logs and returns early without completing the oneshot used by Network::dht_get, and without cleaning up per-query bookkeeping. Later query progress can hit the \"DHT inconsistent state\" path and also return without cleanup. Because Network::dht_get awaits the oneshot without a timeout, the caller future can hang indefinitely. This issue has been patched in version 1.4.0."
