OESA-2023-1857 (CVE-2023-6228)
Vulnerability from osv_openeuler – Published: 2023-11-24 11:06 – Updated: 2026-08-06 11:06 – Source websiteThis provides support for the Tag Image File Format (TIFF), a widely used format for storing image data. The latest version of the TIFF specification is available on-line in several different formats.And contains command-line programs for manipulating TIFF format image files using the libtiff library.
Security Fix(es):
An issue was found in the tiffcp utility distributed by the libtiff package. Processing a crafted TIFF file may cause a heap-based buffer overflow, resulting in an application crash.

Vulnerabilities whose description is nearest to this one in the vector space of the CIRCL/vulnerability-attack-technique-biencoder model. This is a similarity search over the bi-encoder space (plain cosine), not a classification, and it has no measured accuracy.
