GHSA-QM84-5C9V-92XM
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2024-12-27 15:31 – Updated: 2025-11-03 21:31In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ipc: fix memleak if msg_init_ns failed in create_ipc_ns
Percpu memory allocation may failed during create_ipc_ns however this fail is not handled properly since ipc sysctls and mq sysctls is not released properly. Fix this by release these two resource when failure.
Here is the kmemleak stack when percpu failed:

Related by attack behaviour
Vulnerabilities whose description is nearest to this one in the vector space of the CIRCL/vulnerability-attack-technique-biencoder model. This is a similarity search over the bi-encoder space (plain cosine), not a classification, and it has no measured accuracy.
