Title
Improperly Controlled Modification of Dynamically-Determined Object Attributes in Kibana Leading to Unauthorized Data Modification
Summary
Improperly Controlled Modification of Dynamically-Determined Object Attributes (CWE-915) in the case management functionality of Elastic Security in Kibana can lead to unauthorized modification of case data by an authenticated user who has not been granted case editing privileges, via Manipulating User-Controlled Variables (CAPEC-77). Object attributes accepted by the case management API were not subject to the same authorization enforcement applied in the user interface, so a low-privileged user could alter case records they were only entitled to view.

Title
Dolibarr < 24.0.0 Members REST API Improper Authorization via Password Reset
Summary
Dolibarr before 24.0.0 contains an improper authorization vulnerability in the Members REST API that allows attackers with only member-creation rights to reset the password of any user account, including the system administrator, without verifying password-change permissions. Attackers can supply an arbitrary user account identifier and new password in the request body to overwrite credentials and immediately lock out the legitimate account holder.

Title
Flowise: Unauthenticated Property Injection into Flow Execution Context via Ungated `overrideConfig` Spread in Prediction API
Summary
Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to 3.1.3, the unauthenticated POST /api/v1/prediction/:id endpoint accepted an overrideConfig object and unconditionally spread it into internal flowConfig and flowData objects in packages/server/src/utils/buildChatflow.ts and packages/server/src/utils/index.ts without checking apiOverrideStatus. This allowed unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary properties into the flow execution context of any public chatflow, overwrite values such as chatId, sessionId, and chatHistory, and control values resolved through $flow.* template variables consumed by flow nodes. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.3.

This allowed unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary properties into the flow execution context of any public chatflow, overwrite values such as chatId, sessionId, and chatHistory, and control values resolved through $flow.* template variables consumed by flow nodes. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.3."

Title
HeyForm: completeSubmission persists submitter-supplied hidden fields verbatim without validating against the form's declared hidden-field set
Summary
HeyForm is an open-source form builder. Prior to version 3.0.0-rc.9, `completeSubmission` accepts a `hiddenFields: [{id, name, value}]` array from the submitter and stores it verbatim in `submission.hiddenFields`, without validating the supplied `id`/`name` against the form's declared `form.hiddenFields` schema. An anonymous form submitter can therefore inject arbitrary key/value pairs (including XSS payloads, fake authorization metadata, integration-relevant values) into the stored submission. These fields are subsequently forwarded as-is to every webhook integration registered on the form. Version 3.0.0-rc.9 contains a patch for the issue.

Title
rConfig Core < 8.2.8 Privilege Escalation via Users API role field
Summary
rConfig Core before 8.2.8 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows authenticated users to assign arbitrary roles to any account by submitting an unvalidated role field through the Users API during user creation or profile updates. Attackers can exploit the missing allowlist validation and absent admin-level authorization check in StoreUserRequest to mass-assign the Admin role directly to the User model, granting access to privileged features. rConfig Pro and Enterprise are not affected.

Title
Frappe: Mass assignment via set_value
Summary
Frappe is a full-stack web application framework. In version 16.31.0 and earlier, frappe.client.set_value in frappe/client.py checks a dictionary supplied through the fieldname parameter against forbidden standard and child-table fields before parsing the dictionary into individual field names. An authenticated caller can exploit this type confusion to mass-assign protected fields through the client endpoint. No released fixed version is available as of this review.

Title
Client mass-assignment of arbitrary view attributes via the default dj-model update_model handler
Summary
djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, `djust.mixins.model_binding.ModelBindingMixin` provides a default `update_model` event handler and is part of the LiveView base MRO, so every LiveView exposes it. It `setattr`s a view attribute whose name is client-supplied (`field`), gated only by: reject `_`-prefixed names; reject a 14-entry denylist of framework internals (`FORBIDDEN_MODEL_FIELDS`); optional `allowed_model_fields` which defaults to None = allow all; and `hasattr` existence. As a result, a client can set any public, existing view attribute — not just the fields actually bound with `dj-model=` in the rendered template. The denylist covers framework plumbing but nothing about developer business/authz state, and the allowlist is opt-in (off by default). A developer who binds one `dj-model="search"` input and also keeps `self.account_id` / `self.is_admin` / `self.total_price` as view state does not realize a client can set ALL of them via `{type:event, event:"update_model", params:{field, value}}` over the WebSocket. Type coercion matches the target attribute's type (so `"true"` -> bool True), aiding the attacker. This issue is fixed in djust 1.0.7. As a workaround, set `allowed_model_fields` explicitly on every view using dj-model (or subclassing LiveView) to the minimal list of bindable fields; do not keep authorization/ownership state in public view attributes that share the view with dj-model bindings.

Title
jackson-databind: @JsonIgnore on a Record property is bypassed with a PropertyNamingStrategy
Summary
jackson-databind contains the general-purpose data-binding functionality and tree-model for Jackson Data Processor. From 2.15.0 until 2.18.8, 2.21.4, and 3.1.4, Java Records using a PropertyNamingStrategy can bypass @JsonIgnore because POJOPropertiesCollector._removeUnwantedIgnorals() records an ignored component under its original implicit name before _renameUsing() applies the naming strategy, allowing the renamed JSON key to be assigned to the Record constructor parameter. This issue is fixed in versions 2.18.8, 2.21.4, and 3.1.4.

Title
Hoppscotch: Admin RCE via MAILER_SMTP_URL nodemailer sendmail-transport injection
Summary
Hoppscotch is an open source API development ecosystem. Prior to 2026.6.0, the updateInfraConfigs GraphQL mutation in admin/infra.resolver.ts accepts an attacker-controlled MAILER_SMTP_URL value, and validateSMTPUrl in utils.ts permits path, query, or fragment content that nodemailer parses into sendmail transport options, allowing an admin to execute arbitrary commands as root in the backend container after restart and mail sending. This issue is fixed in version 2026.6.0.

Mitigation
Implementation
  • If available, use features of the language or framework that allow specification of allowlists of attributes or fields that are allowed to be modified. If possible, prefer allowlists over denylists.
  • For applications written with Ruby on Rails, use the attr_accessible (allowlist) or attr_protected (denylist) macros in each class that may be used in mass assignment.
Mitigation
Architecture and Design Implementation

If available, use the signing/sealing features of the programming language to assure that deserialized data has not been tainted. For example, a hash-based message authentication code (HMAC) could be used to ensure that data has not been modified.

Mitigation
Implementation

Strategy: Input Validation

For any externally-influenced input, check the input against an allowlist of internal object attributes or fields that are allowed to be modified.

Mitigation
Implementation Architecture and Design

Strategy: Refactoring

Refactor the code so that object attributes or fields do not need to be dynamically identified, and only expose getter/setter functionality for the intended attributes.
