This happend when da9121 device is probe by da9121_i2c_id, but with invalid dts. Thus, chip->subvariant_id is set to -EINVAL, and later da9121_assign_chip_model() will access 'regmap' without init it.

Fix it by return -EINVAL from da9121_assign_chip_model() if 'chip->subvariant_id' is invalid.

Summary
Drop of uninitialized memory in stack_dst
Details

Affected versions of stack_dst used a push_inner function that increased the internal length of the array and then called val.clone(). If the val.clone() call panics, the stack could drop an already dropped element or drop uninitialized memory. This issue was fixed in 2a4d538 by increasing the length of the array after elements are cloned.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

net: bridge: xmit: make sure we have at least eth header len bytes

syzbot triggered an uninit value[1] error in bridge device's xmit path by sending a short (less than ETH_HLEN bytes) skb. To fix it check if we can actually pull that amount instead of assuming.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

netfilter: ebtables: zero chainstack array

sashiko reports: looking at ebtables table translation, could a sparse cpu_possible_mask lead to an uninitialized pointer free?

If cpu_possible_mask is sparse (for example, CPU 0 and CPU 2 are possible, but CPU 1 is not), the allocation loop skips CPU 1. If vmalloc_node() fails at CPU 2, the cleanup loop will blindly decrement and call vfree() on newinfo->chainstack[1].

Not a real-world bug, such allocation isn't expected to fail in the first place.
