Details

RSA Identity Lifecycle and Governance versions 7.0.1, 7.0.2 and 7.1.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability within the workflow architect component (ACM). A remote authenticated malicious user with non-admin privileges could potentially bypass the Java Security Policies. Once bypassed, a malicious user could potentially run arbitrary system commands at the OS level with application owner privileges on the affected system.

GHSA-J3JP-5CVM-4WVF

Vulnerability from github – Published: 2023-09-13 18:31 – Updated: 2024-01-25 18:30
VLAI
Details

A vulnerability in the classic access control list (ACL) compression feature of Cisco IOS XR Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass the protection that is offered by a configured ACL on an affected device.

This vulnerability is due to incorrect destination address range encoding in the compression module of an ACL that is applied to an interface of an affected device. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending traffic through the affected device that should be denied by the configured ACL. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to bypass configured ACL protections on the affected device, allowing the attacker to access trusted networks that the device might be protecting.

There are workarounds that address this vulnerability.

This advisory is part of the September 2023 release of the Cisco IOS XR Software Security Advisory Bundled Publication. For a complete list of the advisories and links to them, see Cisco Event Response: September 2023 Semiannual Cisco IOS XR Software Security Advisory Bundled Publication .

Details

In lunary-ai/lunary v1.5.0, improper privilege management in the models.ts file allows users with viewer roles to modify models owned by others. The PATCH endpoint for models does not have appropriate privilege checks, enabling low-privilege users to update models they should not have access to modify. This vulnerability could lead to unauthorized changes in critical resources, affecting the integrity and reliability of the system.

GHSA-J3M6-GVM8-MHVW

Vulnerability from github – Published: 2024-01-23 20:09 – Updated: 2024-01-29 14:21
VLAI
Summary
No permission checks for editing/deleting records with CSV import form
Details

Impact

Users who don't have edit or delete permissions for records exposed in a ModelAdmin can still edit or delete records using the CSV import form, provided they have create permissions.

The likelyhood of a user having create permissions but not having edit or delete permissions is low, but it is possible.

Note that this doesn't affect any ModelAdmin which has had the import form disabled via the showImportForm public property, nor does it impact the SecurityAdmin section.

Action may be required

If you have a custom implementation of BulkLoader, you should update your implementation to respect permissions when the return value of getCheckPermissions() is true.

If you are using any BulkLoader in your own project logic, or maintain a module which uses it, you should consider passing true to setCheckPermissions() if the data is provided by users.

Summary
OpenClaw: Telegram DM-Scoped Inline Button Callbacks Bypass DM Pairing and Mutate Session State
Details

Summary

Telegram DM-Scoped Inline Button Callbacks Bypass DM Pairing and Mutate Session State

Affected Packages / Versions

  • Package: openclaw
  • Affected versions: <= 2026.3.24
  • First patched version: 2026.3.25
  • Latest published npm version at verification time: 2026.3.24

Details

Telegram callback queries from direct messages previously used weaker callback-only authorization and could mutate session state without satisfying normal DM pairing. Commit 269282ac69ab6030d5f30d04822668f607f13065 enforces DM authorization for callbacks.

Verified vulnerable on tag v2026.3.24 and fixed on main by commit 269282ac69ab6030d5f30d04822668f607f13065.

Mitigation
Architecture and Design
  • Divide the product into anonymous, normal, privileged, and administrative areas. Reduce the attack surface by carefully mapping roles with data and functionality. Use role-based access control (RBAC) [REF-229] to enforce the roles at the appropriate boundaries.
  • Note that this approach may not protect against horizontal authorization, i.e., it will not protect a user from attacking others with the same role.
Mitigation
Architecture and Design

Ensure that access control checks are performed related to the business logic. These checks may be different than the access control checks that are applied to more generic resources such as files, connections, processes, memory, and database records. For example, a database may restrict access for medical records to a specific database user, but each record might only be intended to be accessible to the patient and the patient's doctor [REF-7].

Mitigation MIT-4.4
Architecture and Design

Strategy: Libraries or Frameworks

  • Use a vetted library or framework that does not allow this weakness to occur or provides constructs that make this weakness easier to avoid.
  • For example, consider using authorization frameworks such as the JAAS Authorization Framework [REF-233] and the OWASP ESAPI Access Control feature [REF-45].
Mitigation
Architecture and Design
  • For web applications, make sure that the access control mechanism is enforced correctly at the server side on every page. Users should not be able to access any unauthorized functionality or information by simply requesting direct access to that page.
  • One way to do this is to ensure that all pages containing sensitive information are not cached, and that all such pages restrict access to requests that are accompanied by an active and authenticated session token associated with a user who has the required permissions to access that page.
Mitigation
System Configuration Installation

Use the access control capabilities of your operating system and server environment and define your access control lists accordingly. Use a "default deny" policy when defining these ACLs.

No CAPEC attack patterns related to this CWE.
