Title
Claude Code Templates: Unauthenticated OS command injection (RCE) in Claude Code Studio server (--studio)
Summary
Claude Code Templates is a CLI tool for configuring and monitoring Claude Code. Prior to 1.29.4, the Claude Code Studio server launched by the --studio option in cli-tool/src/sandbox-server.js binds to all interfaces on port 3444, permits cross-origin requests, and requires no authentication. The POST /api/execute endpoint passes the prompt request-body field to executeLocalTask(), and POST /api/install-agent passes the agentName request-body field to a child process. The same unsafe agent field path is reachable from /api/execute through checkAndInstallAgent(). These attacker-controlled values reach child_process.spawn() with shell execution enabled, causing Node.js to construct a shell command in which metacharacters are interpreted. An attacker who can reach the port directly, or who convinces a developer running Studio to visit a malicious website, can execute arbitrary operating-system commands with the developer's privileges and compromise source code, credentials, and local data. This issue is fixed in version 1.29.4.

Title
cti-transmute CSRF Allows Unauthorized Follow and Notification State Changes
Summary
Affected versions of MISP cti-transmute expose several state-changing account operations as GET requests: * /account/follow * /account/delete_notification * /account/mark_notification_read * /account/mark_all_read These endpoints require authentication, but before the fix they could be invoked with simple GET requests. That makes them susceptible to cross-site request forgery because a third-party site can induce the victim’s browser to send authenticated GET requests automatically. The patch converts the actions to POST or DELETE and updates the frontend to include an X-CSRFToken header, providing explicit CSRF protection for those state-changing operations.

Budibase before 3.40.0 Identity Confusion via Chat-Link Handoff CSRF
Summary
Budibase before 3.40.0 contains a cross-site request forgery vulnerability in the chat-link handoff endpoint that allows attackers to bind an external chat identity to a victim's account. Attackers can craft a phishing page that auto-submits a POST request with a leaked confirmation token to bind their chat identity to a victim user's account, enabling impersonation within agent operations and inheritance of victim permissions.

Title
Apache Wicket: Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protection bypass in ResourceIsolationRequestCycleListener
Summary
ResourceIsolationRequestCycleListener protects a Wicket application against cross-site request forgery by rejecting requests that a resource isolation policy judges to come from another origin. Its default policy, FetchMetadataResourceIsolationPolicy, was derived from a reference implementation written to guard static resources, and it inherited two allowances that are unsafe when the thing being guarded is an action on a page: * Every "simple top-level navigation" was allowed. Any GET request carrying Sec-Fetch-Mode: navigate whose Sec-Fetch-Dest was neither object nor embed was allowed, whatever Sec-Fetch-Site said — including cross-site. Wicket invokes component listeners (Link.onClick(), form submits, behaviour callbacks) through ordinary GET navigations, so a page under an attacker's control could navigate the victim's browser to a listener URL and have that listener run inside the victim's authenticated session. Browsers send SameSite=Lax cookies — the effective default when no SameSite attribute is set — on cross-site top-level GET navigations, so the victim's session cookie accompanied the request. * Sec-Fetch-Site: same-site was allowed unconditionally. That value means the same registrable domain and scheme but a different origin — another subdomain or another port. Any sibling origin could therefore invoke any listener by any method, POST form submits included, and cookies are always sent on same-site requests regardless of SameSite. A hostile sibling origin obtained through a subdomain takeover, through delegated user content, or through an XSS elsewhere on the site could act as the authenticated user. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.24.0 or 10.11.0, which fix the issue. Affected versions * Apache Wicket 9.1.0 through 9.23.0 * Apache Wicket 10.0.0 through 10.10.0 Not affected Any release older than 9.1.0: * Apache Wicket 8.x (8.0.0 through 8.17.0). The resource isolation classes do not exist in the 8.x line, which offers only the Origin/Referer-based CsrfPreventionRequestCycleListener. No 8.x release requires a fix. * Apache Wicket 9.0.0. ResourceIsolationRequestCycleListener and FetchMetadataResourceIsolationPolicy were introduced by WICKET-6786 and first shipped in 9.1.0 (released 2020-10-07).

Title
OpenBK7231T CSRF in /cfg_wifi_set Leading to Implicit Web Password Disable and WiFi Hijack
Summary
OpenBK7231T's /cfg_wifi_set endpoint (src/httpserver/http_fns.c) accepts configuration changes via a plain GET request with no CSRF token. If the parameter is absent from the request, an else-branch silently clears the device's web admin password to an empty string.

Title
Hubzilla version prior to 11.4 CSRF via OAuth2 /authorize Endpoint App Registration
Summary
Hubzilla versions prior to 11.4 contains a cross-site request forgery vulnerability in the OAuth2 /authorize endpoint handled by Zotlabs\Module\Authorize::post() that allows unauthenticated attackers to register arbitrary OAuth2 applications under an authenticated user's account by submitting a cross-origin POST request without CSRF token or Origin/Referer validation. Attackers can craft a malicious HTML form that autosubmits attacker-chosen OAuth2 parameters including client_id, client_secret, redirect_uri, and scope to silently register a persistent OAuth2 application, enabling interception of future OAuth2 authorization codes when the victim later authenticates against the attacker-controlled client.

Title
Pluck CMS - CSRF via Spoofable Missing-Referer Bypass Leads to Stored XSS and RCE
Summary
Pluck CMS's admin panel relies solely on a Referer-header comparison (requestedByTheSameDomain in data/inc/functions.admin.php, gating every admin.php action) for CSRF protection, with no per-request anti-CSRF token anywhere in the admin area.

CVE-2026-69093 (GCVE-0-2026-69093)

Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-08-03 13:20 – Updated: 2026-08-03 14:49
VLAI
Title
Admidio before 5.0.11 CSRF via category-report preferences
Summary
Admidio before 5.0.11 does not validate the adm_csrf_token in modules/category-report/preferences.php, which performs persistent Category Report configuration changes based on GET parameters (delete and copy). An attacker can trick an authenticated administrator into visiting a crafted URL to delete or duplicate Category Report configurations, affecting the integrity and availability of that module's configuration.

Mitigation MIT-4
Architecture and Design

Strategy: Libraries or Frameworks

  • Use a vetted library or framework that does not allow this weakness to occur or provides constructs that make this weakness easier to avoid [REF-1482].
  • For example, use anti-CSRF packages such as the OWASP CSRFGuard. [REF-330]
  • Another example is the ESAPI Session Management control, which includes a component for CSRF. [REF-45]
Mitigation
Implementation

Ensure that the application is free of cross-site scripting issues (CWE-79), because most CSRF defenses can be bypassed using attacker-controlled script.

Mitigation
Architecture and Design

Generate a unique nonce for each form, place the nonce into the form, and verify the nonce upon receipt of the form. Be sure that the nonce is not predictable (CWE-330). [REF-332]

Mitigation
Architecture and Design

Identify especially dangerous operations. When the user performs a dangerous operation, send a separate confirmation request to ensure that the user intended to perform that operation.

Mitigation
Architecture and Design
  • Use the "double-submitted cookie" method as described by Felten and Zeller:
  • When a user visits a site, the site should generate a pseudorandom value and set it as a cookie on the user's machine. The site should require every form submission to include this value as a form value and also as a cookie value. When a POST request is sent to the site, the request should only be considered valid if the form value and the cookie value are the same.
  • Because of the same-origin policy, an attacker cannot read or modify the value stored in the cookie. To successfully submit a form on behalf of the user, the attacker would have to correctly guess the pseudorandom value. If the pseudorandom value is cryptographically strong, this will be prohibitively difficult.
  • This technique requires Javascript, so it may not work for browsers that have Javascript disabled. [REF-331]
Mitigation
Architecture and Design

Do not use the GET method for any request that triggers a state change.

Mitigation
Implementation

Check the HTTP Referer header to see if the request originated from an expected page. This could break legitimate functionality, because users or proxies may have disabled sending the Referer for privacy reasons.

CAPEC-111: JSON Hijacking (aka JavaScript Hijacking)

An attacker targets a system that uses JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) as a transport mechanism between the client and the server (common in Web 2.0 systems using AJAX) to steal possibly confidential information transmitted from the server back to the client inside the JSON object by taking advantage of the loophole in the browser's Same Origin Policy that does not prohibit JavaScript from one website to be included and executed in the context of another website.

CAPEC-462: Cross-Domain Search Timing

An attacker initiates cross domain HTTP / GET requests and times the server responses. The timing of these responses may leak important information on what is happening on the server. Browser's same origin policy prevents the attacker from directly reading the server responses (in the absence of any other weaknesses), but does not prevent the attacker from timing the responses to requests that the attacker issued cross domain.

CAPEC-467: Cross Site Identification

An attacker harvests identifying information about a victim via an active session that the victim's browser has with a social networking site. A victim may have the social networking site open in one tab or perhaps is simply using the "remember me" feature to keep their session with the social networking site active. An attacker induces a payload to execute in the victim's browser that transparently to the victim initiates a request to the social networking site (e.g., via available social network site APIs) to retrieve identifying information about a victim. While some of this information may be public, the attacker is able to harvest this information in context and may use it for further attacks on the user (e.g., spear phishing).

CAPEC-62: Cross Site Request Forgery

An attacker crafts malicious web links and distributes them (via web pages, email, etc.), typically in a targeted manner, hoping to induce users to click on the link and execute the malicious action against some third-party application. If successful, the action embedded in the malicious link will be processed and accepted by the targeted application with the users' privilege level. This type of attack leverages the persistence and implicit trust placed in user session cookies by many web applications today. In such an architecture, once the user authenticates to an application and a session cookie is created on the user's system, all following transactions for that session are authenticated using that cookie including potential actions initiated by an attacker and simply "riding" the existing session cookie.
