Vulnerability from csaf_certbund - Published: 2014-09-28 22:00 - Updated: 2025-01-28 23:00Es existiert eine Schwachstelle in Perl bei der Serialisierung von Daten über die "Data::Dumper" Erweiterung, die Teil der Perl-Kerns ist. Ein Angreifer kann ein bösartiges Skript erstellen, das die "Dumper" Methode auf große Array-Referenzen anwendet, in der rekursiv andere Array-Referenzen enthalten sind. Dies löst viele rekursive Funktionsaufrufe von "DD_dump" aus und verbraucht sämtlichen verfügbaren Stack-Speicher. Zur erfolgreichen Ausnutzung muss ein Angreifer einen Benutzer dazu bringen, ein bösartiges Perl Skript auszuführen.
