Vulnerability from csaf_certbund - Published: 2023-06-29 22:00 - Updated: 2023-06-29 22:00Es existiert eine Schwachstelle in Microsoft Azure RTOS. In der USBX-Implementierung der Host-Unterstützung für USB CDC ECM besteht ein Integer-Unterlauf und ein Pufferüberlauf in der Funktion _ux_host_class_cdc_ecm_mac_address_get. Wenn die Länge des Mac-Adress-String-Deskriptors auf 0 oder 1 gesetzt wird, kann der Integer-Unterlauf, gefolgt von einem Pufferüberlauf des Arrays cdc_ecm -> ux_host_class_cdc_ecm_node_id, verursacht werden. Ein Angreifer kann diese Schwachstelle ausnutzen, um Code auszuführen oder einen Denial of Service Zustand zu verursachen.
