Gentoo是Gentoo基金会的一套开源的Linux系统。 Gentoo Linux在8.1.0之前的版本中存在缓冲区溢出漏洞，该漏洞源于系统偏移量和长度表处理不当，在解码精心编制的SGI RLE图像文件时SGIRleDecode有一个4字节的缓冲区溢出。攻击者可能利用此漏洞执行远程代码。
