Title: GNU Binutils Binary File Descriptor库拒绝服务漏洞（CNVD-2018-09227）

Description:

GNU Binutils（又名GNU Binary Utilities或binutils）是GNU计划开发的一组编程语言工具程序，它主要用于处理多种格式的目标文件，并提供有连接器、汇编器和其他用于目标文件和档案的工具。Binary File Descriptor（BFD）library（又名libbfd）是其中的一个以各种格式便携式操作对象文件的库。

GNU Binutils 2.30版本中的BFD库的elf.c文件的‘ignore_section_sym’函数存在安全漏洞，该漏洞源于在symtab条目中的SECTION类型带有0值的情况下，程序未能校验output_section指针。远程攻击者可借助特制的文件利用该漏洞造成拒绝服务（空指针逆向引用和应用程序崩溃）。

The ignore_section_sym function in elf.c in the Binary File Descriptor (BFD) library (aka libbfd), as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.30, does not validate the output_section pointer in the case of a symtab entry with a "SECTION" type that has a "0" value, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and application crash) via a crafted file, as demonstrated by objcopy.
