Ubuntu是英国科能（Canonical）公司和Ubuntu基金会共同开发的一套以桌面应用为主的GNU/Linux操作系统。 Ubuntu 12.04 LTS，14.04 LTS，16.04 LTS和16.10中的network-manager-applet（又名network-manager-gnome）存在安全漏洞。本地攻击者可以在默认的Ubuntu登录屏幕上使用此漏洞来访问本地文件，并执行任意命令作为lightdm用户。
