Apple OS X是为Mac计算机所开发的一套专用操作系统。 Apple OS X使用的bsdiff中的bspatch中的bspatch.c文件中存在整数符号错误漏洞，远程攻击者可利用该漏洞通过构建特殊的补丁文件，使应用程序崩溃或执行任意代码。
