MediaWiki是美国维基媒体（Wikimedia）基金会和MediaWiki志愿者共同开发维护的一套自由免费的基于网络的Wiki引擎，它可用于部署内部的知识管理和内容管理系统。SemanticForms是其中的一个用来创建或编辑表单、查询数据的扩展。 MediaWiki SemanticForms扩展中存在跨站脚本漏洞，该漏洞源于Special:CreateForm页面没有充分过滤‘section_*’、‘template_*’、‘label_*’和‘new_template’参数；Special:FormEdit页面没有充分过滤‘target’和‘alt_form’参数。远程攻击者可利用该漏洞注入任意Web脚本或HTML。
