Title
RustDesk before 1.4.9 Missing Session Scope Enforcement Allows Out-of-Scope Control Message Injection
Summary
RustDesk before 1.4.9 does not enforce a session's authorized connection scope on the server side, so a peer granted a limited session type (FileTransfer, PortForward, ViewCamera, or Terminal) can send control messages and login options reserved for a full Remote session. An authenticated remote peer can exploit this missing scope check to act outside its granted scope, injecting out-of-scope control messages to observe and control the host beyond the permissions it was given.

Invidious - Private Playlist Disclosure via Unauthenticated RSS Feed Endpoint
Summary
Invidious before version 2.20260626.0 contains a broken access control vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to retrieve private playlist contents by accessing the RSS feed playlist endpoint without authentication. Attackers can supply a playlist ID to the feed endpoint to obtain the full playlist contents, owner email address, and associated video entries without any authentication.

Summary
ruoyi-vue-pro through 2026.05, fixed in commit c779a47, contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the CRM module's GET /admin-api/crm/follow-up-record/get endpoint that allows authenticated users to read any follow-up record by iterating sequential numeric IDs. Attackers can exploit this by sending requests with arbitrary ID parameters to access other users' follow-up notes, file attachments, scheduling information, and business entity references without proper authorization checks.

Mythic < 3.4.0.60 - Unauthorized C2 Profile Configuration Access via Unverified Payload UUID
Summary
Mythic before 3.4.0.60 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in four REST endpoints (c2profile_config_check_webhook, c2profile_redirect_rules_webhook, c2profile_get_ioc_webhook, c2profile_sample_message_webhook) that fail to verify payload ownership. An operator in one operation can invoke these endpoints with a known payload UUID from another operation to access that operation's C2 profile configuration including encryption keys and callback parameters.

OpenZiti - Privilege Escalation to Admin via Unauthorized Enrollment Creation
Summary
OpenZiti through 2.0.0, fixed in commit 3027fdf, contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows authenticated non-admin identities with fine-grained enrollment management permissions to create enrollments for any identity, including the default administrator, because the ApplyCreate function in controller/model/enrollment_manager.go verifies only that the target identity exists without performing authorization checks binding the caller to the target identity. Attackers can redeem the resulting one-time token through the unauthenticated client API enrollment endpoint to obtain a client certificate authenticating as the targeted admin identity, yielding full administrative control of the controller and the zero-trust overlay it manages.

Title
RuoYi-Vue-Plus - Missing Authorization on Workflow Task Management Endpoints
Summary
RuoYi-Vue-Plus through 5.6.2, fixed in commit 88d03d9, exposes workflow task management endpoints under /workflow/task (FlwTaskController) without any permission check: the controller declares no class-level or method-level authorization annotation, so the endpoints are gated only by global authentication. Any authenticated user, regardless of assigned role, can therefore reassign workflow approval tasks to arbitrary users via updateAssignee (defeating segregation of duties in the approval process), urge arbitrary tasks, and enumerate all pending and finished tasks via the pageByAllTaskWait and pageByAllTaskFinish listing endpoints. The issue was resolved by adding permission identifiers (SaCheckPermission) to these endpoints.

CVAT < 2.69.0 - Missing Authorization on Quality Reports parent_id Filter Leaks Cross-Organization Report Existence
Summary
CVAT before 2.69.0 contains an improper authorization vulnerability in QualityReportViewSet.get_queryset that allows authenticated attackers to enumerate quality report identifiers belonging to other organizations by exploiting a missing check_object_permissions call on the parent_id query parameter of the quality reports API endpoint. Attackers can send requests with sequential integer parent_id values and distinguish between existing and non-existing reports via HTTP 500 versus HTTP 404 response differences, disclosing cross-organization report existence without returning report content.

Description:

  • Divide the product into anonymous, normal, privileged, and administrative areas. Reduce the attack surface by carefully mapping roles with data and functionality. Use role-based access control (RBAC) [REF-229] to enforce the roles at the appropriate boundaries.
  • Note that this approach may not protect against horizontal authorization, i.e., it will not protect a user from attacking others with the same role.

Description:

  • For web applications, make sure that the access control mechanism is enforced correctly at the server side on every page. Users should not be able to access any unauthorized functionality or information by simply requesting direct access to that page.
  • One way to do this is to ensure that all pages containing sensitive information are not cached, and that all such pages restrict access to requests that are accompanied by an active and authenticated session token associated with a user who has the required permissions to access that page.

CAPEC-665: Exploitation of Thunderbolt Protection Flaws

An adversary leverages a firmware weakness within the Thunderbolt protocol, on a computing device to manipulate Thunderbolt controller firmware in order to exploit vulnerabilities in the implementation of authorization and verification schemes within Thunderbolt protection mechanisms. Upon gaining physical access to a target device, the adversary conducts high-level firmware manipulation of the victim Thunderbolt controller SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) flash, through the use of a SPI Programing device and an external Thunderbolt device, typically as the target device is booting up. If successful, this allows the adversary to modify memory, subvert authentication mechanisms, spoof identities and content, and extract data and memory from the target device. Currently 7 major vulnerabilities exist within Thunderbolt protocol with 9 attack vectors as noted in the Execution Flow.
