CVE-2026-65313 (GCVE-0-2026-65313)

Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-07-31 07:34 – Updated: 2026-07-31 16:32

Title
Use of hard-coded VNC credentials in the engineering-workstation provisioning
Summary
A provisioning script used when installing HIPASE-250 (formerly 250 SCALA) engineering workstations sets a fixed, hard-coded x11vnc password. Because the same credential is applied to every workstation provisioned this way, an attacker with adjacent-network access who knows the password can gain VNC access to affected workstations.

Title
AnyCable: Telemetry Subsystem Contains Hardcoded Authentication Token and Transmits CLI Arguments Including Secrets
Summary
AnyCable is a realtime server for reliable two-way communication that supports any backend. Prior to 1.6.15, the telemetry subsystem in telemetry/config.go enables tracking with a hardcoded public authToken, while clusterFingerprint in telemetry/telemetry.go reads the full configuration file and raw os.Args returned by anycableCLIArgs, including values supplied through --secret, --jwt_secret, and --http_rpc_secret. These inputs are passed to generateDigest, where sha256.New produces the hexadecimal fingerprint that is sent as telemetry. The available source therefore does not show raw credentials leaving the process or establish the advisory's claimed confidentiality loss, although the stable fingerprint is derived from secret-bearing configuration and the default telemetry client uses publicly known authentication material. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.15.

Title
LightRAG: Authentication bypass: hardcoded DEFAULT_TOKEN_SECRET and public /auth-status defeat LIGHTRAG_API_KEY protection
Summary
LightRAG provides simple and fast retrieval-augmented generation. Prior to 1.5.4, when LightRAG is deployed with LIGHTRAG_API_KEY set but AUTH_ACCOUNTS unset, X-API-Key protection can be bypassed because lightrag/api/auth.py falls back to a hardcoded DEFAULT_TOKEN_SECRET, /auth-status and /login can mint guest JWTs, and combined_dependency in lightrag/api/utils_api.py accepts a valid guest token before checking the API key. A remote unauthenticated attacker can call endpoints guarded by combined_auth, including document read, upload, deletion, graph mutation, and query endpoints. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.5.4.

Title
FastGPT: Unauthenticated cross-tenant data access via forgeable plugin-invoke JWT (default INVOKE_TOKEN_SECRET='token')
Summary
FastGPT is a knowledge-based AI application platform. In 4.15.0-beta4, FastGPT plugin invoke reverse-call endpoints under /api/invoke/* authenticate only by verifying a JWT signed with INVOKE_TOKEN_SECRET, which defaults to the constant string token and was not set in official deployment templates. An unauthenticated attacker can self-sign an HS256 JWT and reach /api/invoke/userInfo to disclose cross-tenant user PII by attacker-supplied tmbId values, or /api/invoke/fileUpload to write attacker-controlled content into chat files. This issue is fixed in version 4.15.0-beta5.

Title
Hard-coded Credentials in SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (Model Mix Planning)
Summary
SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (Model Mix Planning) contains a hardcoded credential within the source code of the application to perform authorization check to access certain functionalities in the application. An attacker with high privileges could leverage this hardcoded credential to bypass authorization and delete specific planning-related restrictions in the application. Successful exploitation could result in a low impact on confidentiality and integrity, with no impact on availability of the application.

Title
DataEase: Hardcoded JWT Signing Secret in ShareLink
Summary
DataEase is an open source data visualization and analysis tool. Prior to 2.10.24, ShareSecretManage uses a hardcoded default share link signature key, allowing an attacker who can obtain a passwordless share for a resource and user to use the known key link-pwd-fit2cloud to forge linkToken JWTs, bypass TokenFilter verification, and access backend resources as the share creator even if the original share has been revoked. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.24.

Mitigation
Architecture and Design
  • For outbound authentication: store passwords, keys, and other credentials outside of the code in a strongly-protected, encrypted configuration file or database that is protected from access by all outsiders, including other local users on the same system. Properly protect the key (CWE-320). If you cannot use encryption to protect the file, then make sure that the permissions are as restrictive as possible [REF-7].
  • In Windows environments, the Encrypted File System (EFS) may provide some protection.
Mitigation
Architecture and Design

For inbound authentication: Rather than hard-code a default username and password, key, or other authentication credentials for first time logins, utilize a "first login" mode that requires the user to enter a unique strong password or key.

Mitigation
Architecture and Design

If the product must contain hard-coded credentials or they cannot be removed, perform access control checks and limit which entities can access the feature that requires the hard-coded credentials. For example, a feature might only be enabled through the system console instead of through a network connection.

Mitigation
Architecture and Design
  • For inbound authentication using passwords: apply strong one-way hashes to passwords and store those hashes in a configuration file or database with appropriate access control. That way, theft of the file/database still requires the attacker to try to crack the password. When handling an incoming password during authentication, take the hash of the password and compare it to the saved hash.
  • Use randomly assigned salts for each separate hash that is generated. This increases the amount of computation that an attacker needs to conduct a brute-force attack, possibly limiting the effectiveness of the rainbow table method.
Mitigation
Architecture and Design
  • For front-end to back-end connections: Three solutions are possible, although none are complete.
  • The first suggestion involves the use of generated passwords or keys that are changed automatically and must be entered at given time intervals by a system administrator. These passwords will be held in memory and only be valid for the time intervals.
  • Next, the passwords or keys should be limited at the back end to only performing actions valid for the front end, as opposed to having full access.
  • Finally, the messages sent should be tagged and checksummed with time sensitive values so as to prevent replay-style attacks.
CAPEC-191: Read Sensitive Constants Within an Executable

An adversary engages in activities to discover any sensitive constants present within the compiled code of an executable. These constants may include literal ASCII strings within the file itself, or possibly strings hard-coded into particular routines that can be revealed by code refactoring methods including static and dynamic analysis.

CAPEC-70: Try Common or Default Usernames and Passwords

An adversary may try certain common or default usernames and passwords to gain access into the system and perform unauthorized actions. An adversary may try an intelligent brute force using empty passwords, known vendor default credentials, as well as a dictionary of common usernames and passwords. Many vendor products come preconfigured with default (and thus well-known) usernames and passwords that should be deleted prior to usage in a production environment. It is a common mistake to forget to remove these default login credentials. Another problem is that users would pick very simple (common) passwords (e.g. "secret" or "password") that make it easier for the attacker to gain access to the system compared to using a brute force attack or even a dictionary attack using a full dictionary.
