Details

QQBrowser before 10.5.3870.400 installs a Windows service TsService.exe. This file is writable by anyone belonging to the NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users group, which includes all local and remote users. This can be abused by local attackers to escalate privileges to NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM by writing a malicious executable to the location of TsService.

An attacker can access, read and copy any of the files in this directory e.g. asset_info.json or file_info.json, leading to a loss of confidentiality. The FindAll Listing plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.5. This is due to the 'findall_listing_user_registration_additional_params' function not restricting what user roles a user can register with. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to supply the 'administrator' role during registration and gain administrator access to the site. Note: The vulnerability can only be exploited if the FindAll Membership plugin is also activated, because user registration is in that plugin.
