Vulnerability from variot
Cisco Prime LAN Management Solution (LMS) 4.1 through 4.2.2 on Linux does not properly validate authentication and authorization requests in TCP sessions, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a crafted session, aka Bug ID CSCuc79779. The problem is Bug ID CSCuc79779 It is a problem.Arbitrary commands could be executed by a third party via a crafted session. Cisco Prime LAN Management Solution Virtual Appliance is prone to a remote command-execution vulnerability. Remote attackers can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the root user. This may facilitate a complete compromise of an affected device. This issue being tracked by Cisco Bug ID CSCuc79779. The solution configures, manages, monitors and maintains the network. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
