Title
nvmem: zynqmp_nvmem: Fix buffer size in DMA and memcpy
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvmem: zynqmp_nvmem: Fix buffer size in DMA and memcpy Buffer size used in dma allocation and memcpy is wrong. It can lead to undersized DMA buffer access and possible memory corruption. use correct buffer size in dma_alloc_coherent and memcpy.

"value": "AV:L - The vulnerable path is reached locally through the nvmem sysfs binary attribute, ultimately calling zynqmp_nvmem_read/zynqmp_efuse_access. It is not reachable by network packets, adjacent wireless traffic, or mere physical attachment.\nAC:L - A local attacker can reliably trigger the bug with an aligned read of more than sizeof(size_t) bytes from an efuse offset. No race or attacker-uncontrolled timing condition is required.\nPR:L - The driver does not set root_only, so the generic nvmem sysfs attribute is world-readable, making the read-side DMA buffer overflow reachable by an unprivileged local user. The write-side bug needs root, but the lower-privilege read path is sufficient.\nUI:N - No victim action is required once the attacker has local access. The attacker directly opens and reads the sysfs nvmem file.\nS:U - The corruption affects kernel memory within the same normal-world OS security authority. Although firmware performs the efuse access, this is not a VM escape, sandbox escape, or IOMMU boundary bypass.\nC:H - The undersized coherent DMA allocation followed by copying bytes back to sysfs can read beyond the allocated buffer and expose adjacent kernel/coherent memory. Under the required tie-break rule, this memory corruption/info-leak potential is High.\nI:H - The firmware writes the requested efuse byte count into a buffer allocated with sizeof(bytes), creating an out-of-bounds DMA write into adjacent kernel/coherent memory. Out-of-bounds writes are treated as high integrity impact because they can plausibly be shaped into kernel memory corruption or control-flow compromise.\nA:H - The same out-of-bounds DMA write can corrupt kernel memory and cause an oops, panic, or hang. It can be triggered repeatedly by the local attacker through the readable sysfs path."
