CVE-2026-65599 (GCVE-0-2026-65599)

Title
n8n before 1.123.64, 2.29.8, and 2.30.1 Credential Exposure via JWT Header
Summary
n8n versions before 1.123.64, 2.29.8, and 2.30.1 contain a credential exposure vulnerability: when configured with a Google Service Account key, the full PEM private key was mistakenly placed in the JWT header's kid field (intended only for a key identifier). Because JWT headers are Base64-encoded rather than encrypted, the private key could be recovered by anything that logged or inspected the JWT. An attacker who obtained the key could impersonate the service account and access or modify any Google Cloud resource it was authorized to use. Only instances using Google Service Account credentials are affected.

Title
Tycon Systems TPDIN-Monitor-WEB2 Cleartext Storage of Sensitive Information
Summary
The web management interface in  Tycon Systems TPDIN-Monitor-WEB2 stores and displays system credentials in cleartext on a certain configuration page accessible to authenticated users. Any party with access to the administrative dashboard can immediately read these credentials, which may be used to compromise other systems on the local network.

Title
Grav: Admin Backup Zip File Exposes Account Credentials and Configuration Secrets
Summary
Grav is a file-based Web platform. Prior to 1.7.53, an authenticated administrator with backup permissions can download a ZIP archive containing the full Grav installation root, including user/accounts/admin.yaml with the administrator password hash and user/config with site configuration, through the backup download endpoint protected only by the session-static admin-nonce URL parameter. This issue is reported as fixed in version 1.7.53.

Title
Steeltoe: TLS private keys written to /tmp with default permissions, never deleted
Summary
Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. In Steeltoe.Configuration.Abstractions 4.0.0 through 4.1.0, when MySQL or PostgreSQL service bindings from `VCAP_SERVICES` include TLS client credentials, the Connectors library writes those credentials to temporary files in `Path.GetTempPath()` using `File.CreateText`. On Linux, `File.CreateText` creates files with mode `0644` (world-readable) under the process umask, and the files are never deleted. The same key material is protected at mode `0400` in `/proc/<pid>/environ`. Steeltoe.Configuration.Abstractions version 4.2.0 patches the issue. If an immediate upgrade is not possible, prevent other processes from running in the container under a different UID with access to `/tmp`.

Title
SolidInvoice: API tokens stored as plaintext in the database allowing full credential compromise on database breach
Summary
SolidInvoice is an open-source invoicing platform. Prior to version 2.3.17, API tokens used to authenticate all REST API requests are stored as plaintext strings in the api_tokens database table. Any attacker who obtains read access to the database — through SQL injection, a leaked backup, a misconfigured replica, or insider access — immediately obtains all API credentials for every user with no further effort. This issue has been patched in version 2.3.17.

Title
RustFS: Sensitive Information Leakage (SessionToken and SecretAccessKey) in RustFS Logs [Debug Mode]
Summary
RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. Prior to 1.0.0-beta.2, RustFS suffers from sensitive information leakage in log outputs. When the server is run with RUST_LOG=debug sensitive credentials including SessionToken (JWT), SecretAccessKey, and full JWT claims are printed in plaintext to the server logs. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.0-beta.2.

Title
JunoClaw: MCP write tools exposed raw BIP-39 mnemonic as a tool-call parameter
Summary
JunoClaw is an agentic AI platform built on Juno Network. Prior to 0.x.y-security-1, every MCP write tool (send_tokens, execute_contract, instantiate_contract, upload_wasm, ibc_transfer, etc.) accepted 'mnemonic: string' as an explicit tool-call parameter. The BIP-39 seed was consequently embedded in the LLM tool-call JSON, exposing it to any transport, log, or telemetry surface in the path between the LLM provider and the MCP process. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.x.y-security-1.

Title
electerm: Full process.env exposed to renderer via window.pre.env in electerm
Summary
electerm is an open-sourced terminal/ssh/sftp/telnet/serialport/RDP/VNC/Spice/ftp client. In versions 3.8.15 and prior, the getConstants() IPC handler in src/app/lib/ipc-sync.js serialises the entire process.env object and sends it to the renderer. The data is stored as window.pre.env and is accessible from any JavaScript running in the renderer (e.g., via the DevTools console or a compromised webview context). An attacker who achieves any JavaScript execution within the renderer can trivially exfiltrate these secrets to a remote server, leading to cloud account compromise, supply chain attacks, and lateral movement. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.

Mitigation
Implementation System Configuration Operation

When storing data in the cloud (e.g., S3 buckets, Azure blobs, Google Cloud Storage, etc.), use the provider's controls to encrypt the data at rest. [REF-1297] [REF-1299] [REF-1301]

Mitigation
Implementation System Configuration Operation

In some systems/environments such as cloud, the use of "double encryption" (at both the software and hardware layer) might be required, and the developer might be solely responsible for both layers, instead of shared responsibility with the administrator of the broader system/environment.

CAPEC-37: Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data

An attacker examines a target system to find sensitive data that has been embedded within it. This information can reveal confidential contents, such as account numbers or individual keys/credentials that can be used as an intermediate step in a larger attack.
