Title
Libkcapi: infinite loop denial of service in libkcapi _kcapi_aio_read_all() due to unhandled io_getevents() timeout return
Summary
A flaw was found in libkcapi. A local attacker can influence an application that uses the Asynchronous Input/Output (AIO) interface. By reusing an AIO-enabled handle after a prior completion error, the _kcapi_aio_read_all() function can enter a non-terminating wait loop. This can lead to a persistent denial of service, making the affected application or thread unresponsive.

Title
rsync 3.1.0 < 3.5.0 Signed Integer Overflow via MSG_IO_TIMEOUT
Summary
rsync 3.1.0 before 3.5.0 contains a signed integer overflow vulnerability in the I/O timeout implementation that allows attackers to permanently disable connection timeouts by injecting MSG_IO_TIMEOUT messages carrying non-positive (zero or negative) values. Attackers can craft malicious MSG_IO_TIMEOUT messages that cause the timeout variable to wrap to a non-positive value, preventing the timeout check from firing and enabling idle or stalled connections to hold daemon slots indefinitely, leading to resource exhaustion.

Title
Http4s: WebSocket decoder accepts negative length, causing infinite decode loop
Summary
Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, WebSocket FrameTranscoder.bodyLength rejects extended payload lengths above Integer.MAX_VALUE but permits negative 64-bit lengths. A remote client that completes a WebSocket handshake through an Ember server can send such a frame, causing the decoder to return an empty frame without advancing its input. The decode loop then runs indefinitely, pins a worker at full CPU, and grows an ArrayBuffer without bound, resulting in denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

Title
Fulgur: Unbounded page slicing from attacker-controlled CSS height causes denial of service
Summary
`fulgur` converts untrusted HTML/CSS into PDF, commonly on a server that processes input supplied by many tenants. In versions prior to 0.19.0, a body-direct child whose CSS-resolved height greatly exceeds the page height was sliced into one fragment per page with no upper bound. This is fixed in version 0.19.0. A `MAX_PAGES` cap bounds the slice loop — halting it even for a `+inf` height — and non-finite layout heights are sanitized so they can no longer drive the loop. As a workaround, validate or constrain untrusted CSS (in particular `height` / `vh` on body-level elements) before passing HTML to fulgur.

This is fixed in 0.19.0.

Title
re2: Global `String.prototype.match` with an empty-matchable pattern never advances → infinite loop with unbounded native memory growth (DoS)
Summary
re2 provides Node.js bindings for Google's RE2 regular expression engine. Prior to 1.25.2, re2's String.prototype.match implementation with a global RE2 pattern that can match the empty string fails to advance its native matching cursor in lib/match.cc, causing an infinite loop and unbounded native memory growth that blocks the event loop and can exhaust host memory. This issue is fixed in 1.25.2.

Title
nanoid Infinite Loop via Negative Size in non-secure module
Summary
nanoid (Nano ID) before 3.3.16 and 5.1.16 contains an infinite loop in the customAlphabet and nanoid functions of its non-secure module (nanoid/non-secure). When these functions are given a negative size, the loop counter is decremented from a negative value and never reaches its termination condition, spinning indefinitely and hanging the calling thread. An application that passes an unvalidated, attacker-controlled negative size to these functions is exposed to a denial-of-service condition.

Title
nanoid before 5.1.6 Infinite Loop via Zero Size in customAlphabet and customRandom
Summary
nanoid (Nano ID) before 5.1.6 contains an infinite loop in the customAlphabet and customRandom functions. When these functions are configured with a size of 0, the internal generation loop never satisfies its exit condition and spins indefinitely, hanging the calling thread. An application that passes an unvalidated, attacker-controlled size of 0 to these functions is exposed to a denial-of-service condition.

Title
facil.io 0.6.0 - 0.7.6 Infinite Loop DoS via Multipart MIME Body Parser
Summary
facil.io 0.6.0 through 0.7.6 contains a denial-of-service vulnerability in the multipart body parser that allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to permanently freeze worker processes at 100% CPU by sending a multipart/form-data request with a partial closing boundary. The missing progress guard in the parser loop causes http_mime_parse to return 0 bytes consumed without setting done or error flags, causing the calling loop to re-invoke the parser on the same buffer indefinitely, exhausting all workers and permanently disabling the server until manually restarted.

Title
FFmpeg 0.6.3 - 8.1.2 Infinite Loop DoS via RTP/ASF Demuxer
Summary
FFmpeg versions 0.6.3 through 8.1.2 contain an infinite loop vulnerability in the RTP/ASF demuxer within libavformat/rtpdec_asf.c that allows remote attackers to cause denial of service by sending a crafted RTP/ASF stream. The rtp_asf_fix_header function fails to validate a minimum chunksize when iterating over ASF objects, causing the loop pointer to never advance when a chunksize is smaller than the 24-byte minimum ASF object header size, resulting in CPU exhaustion that denies service to legitimate users.
