This security flaw cause a buffer overrun vulnerability in pkcs15 cardos_have_verifyrc_package. The attacker can supply a smart card package with malformed ASN1 context. The cardos_have_verifyrc_package function scans the ASN1 buffer for 2 tags, where remaining length is wrongly caculated due to moved starting pointer. This leads to possible heap-based buffer oob read. In cases where ASAN is enabled while compiling this causes a crash. Further info leak or more damage is possible.
📏 Published: 2023-06-01T00:00:00
📏 Modified: 2025-01-09T17:54:26.583Z
🔗 References:
1. https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2023-2977
2. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2211088
3. https://github.com/OpenSC/OpenSC/issues/2785
4. https://github.com/OpenSC/OpenSC/pull/2787
5. https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2023/06/msg00025.html
6. https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/LAR54OV6EHA56B4XJF6RNPQ4HJ2ITU66/
7. https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/FJD4Q4AJSGE5UIJI7OUYZY4HGGCVYQNI/
2025-01-09T18:17:05.000000Z
https://ift.tt/zvVTSZC
CVE-2023-29770 | Sentrifugo 3.5 Extension uploadsaveAction unrestricted upload (Issue 384)
2023-12-17T12:12:05.000000Z
‼ CVE-2023-29778 ‼

GL.iNET MT3000 4.1.0 Release 2 is vulnerable to OS Command Injection via /usr/lib/oui-httpd/rpc/logread.

📖 Read

via "National Vulnerability Database".
2023-05-03T00:30:29.000000Z
‼ CVE-2023-29772 ‼

A Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the System Log/General Log page of the administrator web UI in ASUS RT-AC51U wireless router firmware version up to and including 3.0.0.4.380.8591 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a malicious network request.

📖 Read

via "National Vulnerability Database".
2023-05-02T16:30:09.000000Z
‼ CVE-2023-29774 ‼

Dreamer CMS 3.0.1 is vulnerable to stored Cross Site Scripting (XSS).

📖 Read

via "National Vulnerability Database".
2023-04-18T18:29:09.000000Z
‼ CVE-2023-29779 ‼

Sengled Dimmer Switch V0.0.9 contains a denial of service (DOS) vulnerability, which allows a remote attacker to send malicious Zigbee messages to a vulnerable device and cause crashes.
