&lt;p&gt;In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;tracing: Do not allow mmap() of persistent ring buffer&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When trying to mmap a trace instance buffer that is attached to
reserve_mem, it would crash:&lt;/p&gt;
